    Pretty simple to search for a specific frequency for a county when you have a frequency in mind. As far as importing the FCC database, it is cumbersome to achieve and transfer into the radio and when you are done, you will have many frequencies, no CTCSS values and no trunking configurations.

    The FCC site does not assign or track PL tones or any of the other possibilities. When entering the frequency, you can leave the audio setting as "all", with 'search' on the tone/code field. You might get better results if you programmed the frequency twice. Once as analog audio, and 'search' for the tone or code.
