What is the “Apple Inc.” app? I was looking through Settings>>General>>Storage on my iPhone (11 Pro) and came across an app labeled “Apple Inc.” that had no icon, yet was taking up 2.9GB of space. I searched on-line for guidance but couldn’t come up with anything definitive.
The "Apple Inc." is just an acknowledgment it's an iPhone made by Apple, Incorporated. The fact that others don't have this problem just tends to point out that all devices are not the same and a particular setting on the one phone may be different for the others.
In reply to tdehan's post on October 13, 2023. As far as I know, Apple is responsible for driver updates. It should not be offered unless some device had been used on your system. Since I do have some Apple devices and have not been offered such a driver, something out of ordinary situation is involved.

Apr 19, 2019 5:35 AM in response to julen. Use Edit > Preferences > Playback and look at the entry for Play Audio Using. This will normally be set to either Direct Sound or Windows Audio Session. Changing to the other setting may help. If not set back to the first option and apply once more.
