Of the six or so movies, I picked three that I liked. 1) Fortress of War: Fortress of War (2010) - IMDb. Based on the Nazi invasion of the Russia and the defense of the Brest Fortress. Great hand to hand, kind of a "Saving Private Ryan" feel to it. 2) Burnt By the Sun II, Burnt by the Sun 2: Exodus (2010) - IMDb.
Received Arminius HW7, .22 mag, with interchangable cylinders for straight .22m long barrell, in or around 1970: know very little about it other than it's German made, and has etched in the barrell on the right side "FIE MIAMI, FLA": I do have the serial number: it fires well and is very accurate, with little recoil, which is nice: has 8 ...

The Machine Guns were 1895 Maxim. And the handguns held by George Washington Williams were Colt 1851 Navy .38 cal. It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
I have a M1924 Yugo Mauser, and bought this book at a gunshow a few years ago. For the M24/47, it says that 10,935 new rifles were made in 1947. It also says that an additional 50,000 rifles were converted in 1949 to M24/47 configuration. It lists tables as to what stampings you should see and where.

I went to a gun show this morning held by a local gun, shooting, second amendment organization I am a member of. Not one Mosin Nagant there. One member set up there was trying to talk me into selling my crate of Mosin's to him like $250-$300 each.
"Dave: (Dave Moore of Spider Firearms) I received the upper yesterday. First off, I was impressed by the workmanship and ingenuity that was evident in the manufacture of the assembly. You put a lot of work into these guns, and it shows! After a night of rubbing (with oil) the barrel, patching it out, and pacing the floor, I headed to the ...
A shortened version of the Winchester Model 1892 saddle ring carbine known affectionately as the "Mare's Leg" is the main firearm used by Josh Randall (Steve McQueen) throughout the duration of the show, chambered in .44-40 (despite the large .45-70 rounds on his belt). The first version of this gun was a rounded barrel model with a D shaped ...
