Nope, it isn't. My husband got the same call this morning. He was told our new rate would be $39.99/mo for the next two years, and to call the 888 number back (presumably to get personal info at that point). He called the normal Xfinity number instead, and was told that no, there aren't any current specials going on.
My contract was up with comcast and I saw a $30 price increase from $39.99 to $70.95. Called telling them I may have to cancel because of my budget (which was very truthful) and the lady got me a Double Play offer with my same internet speeds and their stream tv for the $39.99 price. This, however, is before taxes and fees.

How much is your bill for the Comcast Blast Internet package after all the taxes and fees? I have rented a modem for $7, then have the $39.99 package. yeah I have comcast/xfinity and have just done 1 call every year for a few years now. I just say "why has my bill gone up?" and they always explain the 1 year promotion and then ask me if I want to see if there are other available plans. I say yes and then they enroll me in a "new" plan with the promotional rate, even if it's the exact same plan
I'm a current internet-only customer and I think my promotion expires tomorrow, 12/27/21. I'm paying $34.99 per month for 100 Mbps. I think my bill is increasing to $55.00 per month starting 12/28/21. I'd like to get one of the current promotions, which as far as I can tell are $19.99 per month for 50 Mbps or $39.99 per month for 100 Mbps.
