i currently work for DHL… the best way to update anything is through ODD (on demand delivery). you can signature release, change address, change for pickup, set time… my warehouse caters to many requests which is sometimes annoying, the quicker we can deliver, the better. no asking to wait 10 minutes for you to get home, or go to the neighbor etc.
DHL customer service 0844 248 0844. Say "something else", then "Speak to an advisor", then "something else". After a long pointless automated message you will then be through to a human being who should be able to assist.

Yesterday DHL updated it to partially delivered, saying it was in the mailroom (which wasn't), and today they dropped the second part, but it was nowhere to be found. DHL added a photo of a mailroom that I have never seen, and the proof of delivery did not contain any signature (I did not waive the signature since the package was expensive).
