Columbia is a town in the Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut, United States. The population was 5,272 at the 2020 census. [1] Originally a part of Lebanon, known as the North Society or Lebanon's Crank, [2] Columbia was incorporated in May 1804.
The Assessor's Office is responsible for the discovery, listing, and equitable valuation of all real and personal property within the town in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes. The office compiles the Grand List annually as of the October 1st assessment date.
