Targets your focus and uses misdirection. If the tank is dead or out of range It'll use it on your pet. This macro actually attempts to use misdirection first on your focus if it's a helpful target, then on your actual target if it is helpful, then finally on your pet if it is summoned. The macro you have here doesn't do a ranged check or a if ...
With the above Macro in place. Once a focus target is defined use this macro to set your pet on your focus target (while u seamlessly pew pew your target) and 'mark the target'. You need to click it twice to a) set up the mark and b) send in the pet, you can also add in a serpent sting (for a 3rd click) and a rapid fire etc for a fourth click.
Target self macro. When I use the keybinding for target self and I have a pet up it cycles from me and my pet so is there a way to do it so it'll just target me. If [the dps] are on the wrong target, then they are playing badly and should be corrected and / or mocked, depending on how you roll.

#showtooltip Spirit Mend /cast [target=focus, exists, nodead],[target=pet, exists, nodead] Spirit Mend Edit: I am 99.9% certain that #3 will work perfectly as it is my Misdirect macro with the MD changed to Spirit Mend.
I believe there's a setting in your keybind interface where you can bind a key to "target enemy player" so maybe your macro could work with /targetenemyplayer who knows? Reply With Quote 2011-02-04, 07:54 AM #3
How the Macro works... If your pet is dead: You will cast Revive Pet. If your pet is not summoned: You will cast Call Pet 1. If your pet is not summoned but is dead you can hold shift to cast Revive Pet. If you do not have a focus: You will focus on your target and your pet will be sent to attack it. If you have a focus: You will clear focus ...
436. Yes. /cast [@pet] Misdirection. Edit: If you want to reduce button bloat, this one will cast it on your pet UNLESS you have a focus target, in which case it will cast on your focus instead. /cast [target=focus, exists, nodead] Misdirection; [target=pet, exists, nodead] Misdirection. /target [target=pet, exists] pet /cast Corpse Explosion /targetlasttarget [target=pet, exists] I believe this one works, however, you definitely don't want to explode an actual Unholy ghoul and you likely would only be using your non-perm ghoul as part of a CD blowing, in which case you are spending 40RP on doing usually less damage than a DC/FS and needing to time to not waste part of the ghoul ...
May 2010. Posts. 7,754. 1. Put your pet on passive, and stick "/petattack" in a macro. 2. Use said macro on the mob you want it to attack, then switch to whatever you want. However, obviously people do this to pad the meters, and leaving your pet on a target that isn't the raid's current focus target is being a bad player.
