    forums.nexusmods.com/topic/6414876-mod-plugins-dont-show-up-in-plugins

Some mods do not have ESPs. However for your installed mods that are being affected right click on them, and choose "Open in Explorer" to verify the plugin exists in the staging folder, and also open your data directory in the game to ensure the plugins are actually present in the data folder too.

  3. BG3 mod manager, or Vortex better to use? : r/BaldursGate3 -...

Kahako. •. If you are new to modding and aren't comfortable with your debugging skills, I recommend sticking to BG's mod manager. Not because it's any more or less intuitive (they're about the same imo) but because you'll have more community support (or even mod author support) if you get stuck. Plus, Vortex and BG3 manager aren't big ...

    forums.nexusmods.com/topic/13498316-baldurs-gate-3-patch-7-support-for-vortex

This update should take your existing load order and write the modsettings.lsx file in the correct format for the discovered game version. The updated extension also supports ordering of mods that were installed with the in-game mod manager (IGMM) that was introduced in Patch 7. These are shown as ' Not managed by Vortex ' but can still be ...

In that case the "Base Path" for FO4 would be. D:\Games\Vortex\Fallout4. and you could leave both the Download Path and the Install Path at their defaults, i.e. {base}\downloads. and. {base}\mods. The {base} part is referring to the base directory you set above, i.e. in that case your mod archives you download would be stored in D:\Games\Vortex ...

  6. Is Vortex worth using? : r/nexusmods - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/nexusmods/comments/ku5o64/is_vortex_worth_using

Just curious about what the general consensus seems to be about using Vortex for Nexus Mods. It sounded useful, but it didn't seem to work super well when I tried it (I could've messed up or made a mistake in trying to use it for Cyberpunk too soon). The manual method seems pretty easy in the first place though, but I just wanted to see what ...

    forums.nexusmods.com/topic/7442471-is-there-a-way-to-remove-all-mods-start...

Rattledagger. Posted March 4, 2019. If you want to uninstall all mods, it's also possible to exit Vortex, delete the game folder and delete all contents of games "staging folder" (but just to be on the safe side keep the staging folder). This will keep all the mod archives but you need to redownload the game.

    forums.nexusmods.com/topic/7745623-move-vortex-mod-folder-to-another-drive

Posted June 18, 2019. Game and mod-folder must be on the same drive, so you should do something like: 1: In Vortex, on mods-tab hit "purge". 2: Exit Vortex. 3: In Steam, move Skyrim to another drive. 4: Run Skyrim launcher once to setup registry etc. 5: Re-start Vortex to detect new location of Skyrim. 6: Just to be on the safe side re-start ...

  10. How do I change the load order in Vortex. - The Nexus Forums

    forums.nexusmods.com/topic/7674688-how-do-i-change-the-load-order-in-vortex

EDIT: Personally, I don't use this method to adjust load order in Vortex. I let Vortex sort the plugins. On the few occasions when I've had to fine tune the load order, I've use group assignments. I mentioned this drag feature in Vortex only because (in my opinion) it's the easiest way to make a plugin rule, if you need to make one.

    forums.nexusmods.com/topic/7451816-vortex-needs-to-access-but-doesnt-have...

"ONE SOLUTION: Now I did figure out a way to fix it. I had to recreate the entire folder structure of the mod, by making a bunch of NEW FOLDERS on my own, and renaming them. Then I simply copied the mod files into my new folder, archived it, then installed the 'new' mod" You essentially recreated folders but did not mark them read-only.
