Costco Discount. I have a new 2020 Bolt Premier that should arrive this week. My dealer called today to give me the good news that in addition to the $8,500 GM discount, there is an additional $3,000 for Costco members. That's $11,500 in addition to the waived final lease payments. Not too bad!

Here's the litmus test for these $3,000 COSTCO Discount coupons: Try anonymously negotiating a deal on a 2020 Bolt with a Discount of the $8500 GM Cash + a $5,000 dealer discount ... so $13,500 minimum off MSRP. Get it in writing. Go into the dealership to make the purchase and then whip out your COSTCO Discount coupon. Betcha you don't get it ...
They can tell you "Congrats, you get the $3k costco discount, but our dealer discount will drop from $10k to only $8k." If the buyer accepts that offer, then the dealer will effectively pocket $2k of the $3k which GM/Costco pays. So to get the full discount, the buyer needs both: GM/Costco to send $3k

I got a $300 cash card from Costco when I bought my Bolt through their program in 2019. They referred me to "the Costco lady" at my local Chevrolet dealership. Bolt Action and Wattz. Like.
If I don't have the Costco coupon, then I should be able to get both the $8,500 + the $6,500 for a total of $15k discount. With the Costco coupon, I would still only get the $15k as they adjust their dealer discount accordingly so it still adds up to only $6,500.
The chevy site told me who had ones on the lot. Using this information I called the dealers directly using the contact info on the viewable window sticker for the vehicle. I contacted a dealer by Detroit and worked out the price over the phone. Costco was only offering a $500 discount in Q4 2022. I don't know if there still is any discount.

i signed up for the costco deal just to see what the discount was. the dealer called me in less than 10 minutes after submitting the form, so that was nice. the discount on a fully loaded premier was only $1600. i did much better negotiating on my own.
