Apkmody did not release the mod. They just had a copy of it.. Depending on the type of app, you may want to consider gettiing it. Liteapks, virus total everything. And if only one site out of hundreds 'says' it's modded exactly how you want it to be.....

Probably, but it isnt ideal. Mobilism or happymod are better alternatives. Release apk is also a good source if you dont want a third party app, although both mobilism and happymod can be accessed by browser I think. For the most part, yes.
