The Ultimate Classic Rock website put this up recently. I can find many groups that I don't think should be on such a list, and certainly I have endless disagreements about why a particular band is ranked higher or lower than another one.
According to the thread title this is supposed to be a list of Classic Rock. I understand that the English language is dynamic and ever-changing, and that nomenclatures shift and evolve in time. I think the penalties would be a lot less if they breakup way before the tour though but they will be penalized after the tickets go on sale. According to Wikipedia, the harmonica solo that closes The Pretenders' 1983 hit "Middle of the Road" was left off the production credits, although many music journalists and websites (including Ultimate Classic Rock) attribute it to singer Chrissie Hynde, who does so whenever the band perform the song live.
