DTE Energy has kicked off a limited-time program to reduce energy in targeted areas. To drive this initiative, DTE is offering 4,500 qualifying residential electric customers, who live in zip code 48173, increased rebates on air conditioning replacements and diagnostic AC tune-ups.

DTE Energy is excited to offer an increased rebate on above grade wall and attic insulation installs. The rebate will be temporarily increased from $125 to $400, starting Aug. 1 through Dec. 1, 2024. No promo code is needed.
DTE ENERGY HEATING AND COOLING AND WATER HEATING (HVAC) PROGRAM 2022 UPDATES Effective January 1, 2022, rebates for DTE residential HVAC measures will remain the same as they were in 2021 – apart from air source heat pumps. Applications for 2021 installations will still receive the 2021 rebate amounts.
Customers applying for a rebate must receive natural gas and/or electric distribution service from DTE. This offer is not valid for new construction homes or commercial properties.
To receive rebates, eligible DTE residential customers applying for a rebate through the INWIN Program, hereinafter referred to as “Participants,” must have a valid legal signature on the rebate certification.
Starting Feb. 1, 2024, rebates for the DTE Energy residential HVAC measures will change. Applications for 2023 installations will still receive the 2023 rebate amounts. These applications, however, must be submitted to the program no later than 20 days following installation.
Tier II – This level signifies energy efficiency at 25% above government mandates. Tier III – This level represents the highest levels of energy and water efficiency, with savings of over 30% versus government benchmarks.
