The state is incentivized to force one parent to pay. Mothers have 91% custody in the state of Texas as they want the men out working and pushing the economy. Only thing you can do here is push for a trial date or mediation. The latter is faster and you can be done much faster than waiting for a trial.
There are PLENTY of those, and they still model bad behaviors (lying for the sake of pride/face, etc.) and propagate those behaviors to the daughters. The behaviors become deeply ingrained.
