Jan 7, 2022 at 8:22 AM. Just had baby #3! My first two pregnancies I gained 40lb and this last pregnancy I gained 60lb. I was on bedrest for the last 3 months and wasn’t shy about eating ice cream . By 6 weeks at my doc appt, 40lb was gone (I always gain a TON of water weight and the baby was 10lb!)
Mar 10, 2018 at 8:12 PM. It’s hard to compare your weight gain to your mom’s, etc because they were a different generation with different medical advice. It could be genetics, it could be fluid, it could be your diet. Some women, no matter what they do, can’t gain less than 40 lbs.
