The Governor's School was chartered by Governor of New Jersey Thomas Kean in 1983. The first school, School of Public Issues- Monmouth University, began with 113 students. The New Jersey Institute of Technology has a history dating back to the 19th century. Presidential Management Intern Program (1977–2003) The Presidential Management Fellows ( PMF) [ 1] Program is a two-year training and leadership development program at a United States government agency, administered by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), for advanced degree holders (both current and recent graduates).
The New Jersey Department of Corrections operates 13 major correctional or penal institutions, including seven adult male correctional facilities, three youth facilities, one facility for sex offenders, one women's correctional institution and a central reception and intake unit; and stabilization and reintegration programs for released inmates.
Pathways Programs. The Pathways Programs are a series of programs of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management geared toward inviting talented students and recent graduates into federal employment. The programs were instituted as a result of an executive order signed in 2010, which incorporated both preexisting and new programs.
