[citation needed] It was initially located at a piece of land located at the 2 1/2 Mile of Jalan Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. It was officially opened by Lady Gent, the wife of Sir Edward Gent, the Governor of Malayan Union. The place is now known as Bukit Damansara .
BFT 1002. Sekolah Agama Menengah Tinggi Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (SAMTTAR) known in English as Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Religious High School was established in Malaysia in January 1943. Its original site was a donated (wakaf) land next to the current Masjid Kampung Sungai Manggis. The school original building is still standing.
