I am using Windows 7 build 7000. It seems that Windows Mail is going to be included after all, at least in Windows 7 Ultimate (I am using the beta version of Ultimate). See the link for the screenshot. This is a default installation with very few non-default applications installed (I didn't install an email client though, as I use hotmail).
