Filed my first claim for unemployment on 2/22 (a week ago today). Identify has been verified and I got the email from NJ saying my account is unlocked and I’m good to certify for benefits, but when I try and do so, it says “your certification cannot be processed”. My claim balance and WBR is also $0. Can’t get a hold of any agents on ...
Earnings: if you say that you worked until 3/25 then you have earnings for the week of 3/22-3/28. Prorate your salary or multiply your hourly rate by the hours worked. $15 per hour times 10 hours is $150. $500/week divided by 5 days a week, times 2 days you worked is $200. That's all it's asking : money you made from working.
I’m confused about when I need to certify. I filed a claim on 9/25. According to the website, I should to certify for benefits until 17 days after I initially filed. This would mean 10/12, which is a Wednesday. According to the recent schedule and based on my SSN, I'm eligible to certify for UI benefits on Tuesdays. My UI Claim Status says filed.
I filed for unemployment and my Date of Claim is showing as 07/03/2022 (Sunday of the week it was filed). Claim Status is "Filed" and show properly the weekly benefit rate. It does show "next Payable week: 07/09/2022". FAQs say that the first time I would be able to Certify for weekly benefits is 17 days after the date of the claim, on a Wednesday.
A place for your unemployment insurance questions. [New Jersey] Is anyone else having trouble certifying at the right time? My time slot is at 8:30 AM, which is correct according to their time schedule, yet the system won't let me through. It says: "You are not accessing the system at your scheduled time". Help!
Yea in the same boat. I had the alarm set up for the certification.. alarm goes off and when I go to certify they changed the time without warning and I have missed it. Now I have to wait a full two weeks for payment. NJ is the worst .. they will make the mistake and have you pay for it.
Filed on March 15th in south Jersey. Got two E-adjuction or those questionnaire emails. Claimed certify twice and said the same thing. I noticed an increase of weekly benefits too. The weeks you claim is credited so with that said, they owe a lot of people money plus the 600 additional weekly.
This week I tried certifying for my weekly benefits on my scheduled day and it said: “Your certification cannot be processed. Please call your local Reemployment Call Center during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm at the following numbers:”. I just tried doing it again today and I got the same message.
Every week I have gone to “certify for weekly benefits,” put in my information, then another box pops up that says to chose a COVID related reason on why I’m unemployed (Pre-Qualifying PUA Certification Criteria). Well, in my case, COVID has nothing to do with my unemployment. I can not move further in the process without choosing an option.
