If you are still skeptical, read the reviews of the mod. If people are getting viruses from it, the knowledge will be in there.

after that you are in the people playground game folder inside try to look for a folder called Contraptions that folder is the folder steam stores your contraptions in if there is none inside or there isn't even a folder like that create one with the exact same NAME - "Contraptions" and then try subscribing some contraption mods and it'll work ...

so recently i've bought people playground and wanted to barrage it with a shit-ton of mods, but i don't know if they can give your pc a virus. I do not believe so, as the mods will most likely be checked for malicious code upon being uploaded. It will reject sus mods. Just turn it on in settings.
