UAE Abu Dhabi. 2017–. UAE Team Emirates. Current season. UAE Team Emirates ( UCI team code: UAD) is an Emirati road bicycle racing team. The team competes at UCI WorldTeam level and has done so since the UCI World Tour was formed as the top category of road cycling in 2005. The team at the 2023 Paris–Nice.
He was the first Emirati cyclist to compete in the Olympic road race. After his team Al Nasr Pro Cycling Team–Dubai disbanded at the end of the 2016 season, he joined the UAE Abu Dhabi team for 2017, becoming the first Emirati to ride for a UCI WorldTeam. His older brother, Badr, also competed as a professional road cyclist.
UAE Tour. The UAE Tour ( Arabic: جولة الإمارات) are road cycling stage races in the United Arab Emirates. A men's event was first held in 2019 as part of the UCI World Tour. It was created as a result of the merging of the Abu Dhabi Tour and the Dubai Tour. A women's event was first held in 2023 as part of the UCI Women's World Tour .
