Planned Pethood makes it a priority to find homes for pets in our own backyard. We focus our efforts on dogs and cats in NW Ohio. This includes strays, shelters, puppy mill survivors, and owner surrenders.
Adoption Process. When you find an animal (or more than one) that you are interested in, you can immediately fill out an online adoption application. It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers.

Surrendering Your Pet. We encourage you to do everything you can to keep your pet. Shelters, rescues and pounds all have limited space, staff, volunteers and resources. We can help you find a good trainer or a volunteer that can share some options with you.
