I use Fidelity for basic news reading, running stock screens for high growth stocks at decent valuations, looking deeply at the history of earnings results, actually trading options, and for their options scanner which tracks abnormal option activity.
This gives many people an opportunity to learn about these stocks and decide if they want to invest in them or not. I've displayed the most 'popular' tickers on whichever sub-reddit the post may have originated from.
What are your 5 growth stock picks for 2024? About 50% of my portfolio will be S&P500 for steadiness and diversification. But I like to add in some single stocks to give a little more growth. We can look back at this post in 1 year and see how our picks played out. My picks are MSFT, INTC, COST, TT, ODFL. And my wildcard would be COKE.
What are some of the good live chat/forums to discuss a specific stock ? Looking for something that has a dedicated chat thread for every stock where I can go through folks comments to get a general idea/news of what’s going around for not-so-popular names.
The trouble with penny stocks in my opinion is that since they are volatile you need to really have your finger on the pulse and have a plan or you’re going to get burned. Like a previous commenter said though, you can just take small gains and that simplifies things quite a bit.
