One train is a double stack intermodal train. Crew (s) reported OK with minor injuries - awaiting further details. News reporter (s) just getting set up as of 5:00 AM Friday morning.

    This turned out to be a new service for BNSF supposedly. Unit train of Diesel Fuel bound for the Valero Refinery at Machovex Tex on the Boise City Sub north of Amarillo Tx. Train was 103L-0E-13642T. Had 3x1 set up with CN 3327, ET44AC-BNSF ES44C4 7012-BNSF ES44C4 6738 with BNSF ES44C4 8034 on the rear.. Here it is observed coming thru PJct NB.

    With BNSF's new "Heavy" locomotives working on a few of the Palos, AL coal sets, it was a perfect time to make the trek to northwestern Nebraska. It was quite the sight to see these 18,000 ton coal trains battle the 1.4-1.7% grade of Crawford. Even more exciting was seeing the manned helpers shove these trains over the hill.
