Many Sky Glass and Stream users report problems with accessing Discovery+ app, despite having a free subscription. Sky employees and other users offer possible solutions and workarounds, but the issue persists.
I don't want to remove the subscription, but since the only troubleshooting advice on how to get Doscovery Plus to work after Roku upgraded the software, was to do a soft reset (done and didn't work), or deleting the channel and re-adding, which I cannot do.
However, we searched for a particular show (The Repair Shop) and couldn't find it but we did see it listed as available on the Discovery Plus via The Roku Channel. We couldn't find a way to log-in using our Discovery Plus app credentials and we couldn't play the show without starting a 7-day free trial which we don't need.
My Discovery Plus app stopped working on my Roku Premier . I have deleted the Discovery app several times , rebooted the Roku before , after reinstalling the Discovery app . I’m still seeing “something went wrong . Let’s try again “ Reload the app . The Roku is on the latest version 10.0.0.4209-91 .

Many Sky Q users report having to sign in to Discovery Plus every time they use the app, even after activating it with a code. This is a common problem since July 2024 and affects some devices more than others.
Just to confirm Discovery + working on my Sony Android TV and Google Chromecast but not on either of our picks. It would be Discovery ( i believe the mention os Disney in an early post was just a typo - if only the companies didn't have simiarish names, i've certainly accidentally typed the wrong one in before 😀 )

From today you can add discovery+ free of charge. NOTE- sign up is done on the stream or glass device and not the my sky app. Head to the MySky tab at the bottom of home page and go into marketplace then select discovery plus and add this the price displayed is £0. Then follow on screen inst...
