Save the Day Passes. Many parks fill to capacity on weekends and holidays. Pre-purchase a day pass and guarantee your entry and parking. Day passes are: Valid until 10 p.m., unless the park closes earlier. Available up to 1 month in advance. Not transferrable to another person or park.

Lake Bob Sandlin is a very well maintained Texas State Park in the Piney woodlands of East Texas. Located about 13 miles S.E. of Mt Vernon just off I30 located on Texas SH 21 and about 100 miles east of Dallas.
Primitive Campsites (Hike-in) Must hike 1/4 - 1 mile from the parking area. Sites are in two areas, 100 square feet each. These heavily wooded and fairly flat areas are not near the lake, but are within walking distance of Two-Acre Pond. Pets are allowed.

Guests must leave the park by 10 p.m. Quiet time is from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Gate Hours: 10 p.m. – 6 a.m. Gate code issued to overnight campers, must call park for code. Excess parking fee is required at campsites with more than two vehicles (including trailers).
