Welcome to the Chesapeake Public Schools Office of Student Enrollment & Attendance. If you and your family are new to our school community, we look forward to enrolling your child(ren) into our district.
Students are expected to attend the schools zoned for their parents’ or guardians’ address.
The nine members of the Chesapeake School Board are elected to at-large seats and represent the entire city. They are elected to four-year staggered terms in November.
Job candidates who are currently employed with Chesapeake Public Schools, can access the job board through Infor Employee Space, our internal job board.
To register your student, you will need the following documentation. Student’s birth certificate. Proof of residency – this can be an electric, gas, or water bill showing usage within the last 30 days. If you do not have any of these items, contact the Office of Student Enrollment for assistance at 757-547-0545.
