  3. NatWest Black Account, is monthly fee worth it… thoughts?

    www.reddit.com/r/UKPersonalFinance/comments/p6ca0o/natwest_black_account_is...

    19. PontyPonty. • 3 yr. ago. The monthly fee is, in reality, £21 if you set up a couple of direct debits and open the app once a month. The concierge is...OK. It's provided by a company called Ten Group. They'll get things done, generally, but they won't save you any money - that's not their focus. The travel service and travel money is useless.

  6. Are reward accounts worth the cost? : r/UKPersonalFinance -...

    www.reddit.com/r/UKPersonalFinance/comments/ug5v80/are_reward_accounts_worth...

Depends. On the NatWest one, it costs £2 but you get £5 reward per month. So effective reward of £3 per month. £3 a month is better than a kick in the teeth. Over a year, it’s a free meal out or whatever. For the other reward accounts that are cash back based, you need to do the maths. Ditto for ones that come with travel insurance etc.

  7. £200 bank switch offer from NatWest : r/UKPersonalFinance -...

    www.reddit.com/.../comments/11236os/200_bank_switch_offer_from_natwest

Reading online they're both branded under natwest so assuming the £200 offer won't apply between the 2 banks. I haven't tried it (yet) but the T&Cs just say that you can't have received a switch bonus from the natwest group banks between Oct 2017 and Feb 2023, so it SEEMS like you could get all 3 now.

  8. Steam Banned by Natwest? (UK) : r/Steam - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/18307qx/steam_banned_by_natwest_uk

Steam Banned by Natwest? (UK) Tried to buy something in the sale, got declined. When I rang the bank (Natwest), they said due to a policy change, they don't accept payments to Steam anymore. Has anyone else experienced this, or is someone bullshitting me? NatWest is a terrible bank in general.
