He probably means "actual" trailer tires .... not light truck tires or bias ply trailer tires. Maybe something like a 8ply steel belted radial ST tire with a load range D designation. 08-03-2017, 04:50 AM #9

Cupping means the outside edge of the tread on both tires looks like someone took a chunk of rubber out about every 2 or 3 inch around the entire diameter of the tire. I had the trailer tires balanced the day I bought the trailer with less than 100 miles on them. I would like to get USA made tires in 215/ 75 r 14 ST. Any suggestions?

Boat Trailer Axle Alignment. I need some advice on my boat trailer. I have a '96 Ez Loader trailer with a single axle. A good Brother is nice to have. Well friends, this little post is to thank my younger brother. He helped me out of a serious problem with my old boat trailer. A couple years ago I inadvertently broke my trailer after dropping off the end of a ramp during winter pool. I was able to get the boat and now broken trailer home.

  9. Sand in trailer tire? - Crappie

    www.crappie.com/crappie/mechanics-corner-boats-motors-and-trailers/445325-sand...

Yep, Because of the bulk of the tires, as well as materials some rims are made of, it's getting to be quite common for tire mounting shops to put the balancing material in side the tire. I.e. plastic beads, sand like material in a thin plastic baggie. theory being as the wheel turns faster the material is slung to the spot its needed to balance the tire.

I would lower the jack with the trailer still attached to my Ranger. Pull the pin.
