I have received two phone calls from "Nancy" at the "Outlook Security Support Team. The phone number is 888-392-8314. She said that there was a lot of suspicious activity on my account, and directed me to "Terminal." She said that the "sleeping" number indicated specific threats. She wanted to access my computer through AnyDesk.
I can't say for 100% certain but it looks like someone is trying to verify that the phone number and email account are linked with each other. Check haveibeenpwned my account was on a list that included partial phone numbers.
I figured it was fake. I didn't call the 855- number that was listed in the warning. Even though I do have anti virus software installed I called Microsoft at 800 642 7676. The support person I spoke with informed me this was a scam and said that I probably had a virus installed (I told them I did not click on anything). I opted for the $159 fee to

It’s not a threat had been detected on my IP address and my computer was blocked and locked. It told me not to turn off my computer or attempt to restart it, but instead call 1-855-999-0177. Is this a legitimate phone number for Microsoft support or is this a scam?
Here's another thread from a year ago indicating that most of those in the thread believed they'd talked to Microsoft at that same number, so I don't think it's likely you'll have any issues relating to that particular call. These kind of pop-ups are fake alerts, trying to scam you into buying needless services/products. Never ever call those phone numbers or fill in passwords etc. If you can't close your browser in a normal way: Open Task Manager (press Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your keyboard) and in the tab Processes end all browser processes.
B) COA SLP: This is the Product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or bottom,[ or inside the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but should only be used in limited situations (such as if the OEM SLP key stops self-activating for whatever reason). The key must be activated by Phone.
