Start the install from the launcher. It will ask you to "Choose install location". Select the base Epic Games folder where your game files are already installed. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games. It will then show that path and add the game folder to the end. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games\ShadowComplexRemastered.

Epic is wonderful because gives more porcentage of earnings to Devs and Studios. Beyond that... well, there's the free games, but that comes with a catch. That catch is that some games are base games wth a lot of DLC (that's the business) or, very cheap games that usually cost 1-4 USD bundled or historical low.
Update2: This method still works to bypass the launcher, but 2k seems to also have fixed the performance issues related to the launcher for most users. At the very least, using this you won't have to start up the Epic launcher to start the 2k launcher to start the game!
