How to change your address with the Postal Service. Let the post office know you are going to change your address and want your mail forwarded to your new location. You can: Go to USPS.com/move to change your address online. You do not need to pay a separate company to change your address.
1. USPS Mail Forwarding Online. Visit the USPS Change of Address Section. Use your credit card to pay the $1.05 mail forwarding fee. A verification will be sent to your email to confirm your identity. Upon confirmation, your mailing address has been changed! 2. USPS Mail Forwarding in Person at the Post Office. Visit your local USPS post office.
