The first library established in Camden was known as the Federal Society's Library, and was started in 1796 with a collection of 200 books. Camden Hills State Park is a 5,710-acre (2,310 ha) public recreation area overlooking Penobscot Bay in the town of Camden, Knox County, Maine.
