    Have a Yamaha G-2 that hesitates when starting. Have to pump the pedal a few times. Replaced the pedal stop switch but that didn't help. One thing I noticed is that it still has the backup beeper installed and when you put it in reverse and pump the pedal the beeper goes off for a bit so it's some kind of electrical problem.

First thing you need to do it take the cart out and run it and once it dies pull the spark plug and and see if it's wet or dry and check spark if it's dry it's a fuel issue if it's wet than it's an ignition issue need to figure out what one it is and can go from there.

It is not recommended to pour oil into the gas tank as it will not mix, you should add the oil to a gas can and shake it up to mix the solution. Dave.
