I've noticed that the news anchors on channel 4 have been reporting local sports news this month. IIRC, channel 4 had 3 sports anchors (Dave Johnson, Cary Chow and Moises Linares). They all can't be sick or on vacation. If they were, channel 4 would usually bring in a sports reporter from the NBC Sports Washington cable channel.
And the fact that NBC Sports and the Olympics pages on youtube pulled the full opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympics from their roster just goes to show they too knew they screwed up. And oh, the man behind all this is named Thomas Jolly. I also wonder if there really was a black out last night in Paris.

Well, this latest thought takes me back to a time occurring in between programs or at the half of a program. NBC and ABC very seldom had scare factors, but they paled in comparison to CBS, which did. The Tiffany Network, as it was sometimes referred, had a way with announcers.
