The email does register in the 'Sent' folder of my business account, so I know it got the right response from the SMTP server. Receiving works fine, however. I have contacted Network Solutions and they asked me to try sending email from their Mail Web Interface and everything worked as expected. They mentioned the problem is with my email client.

In my Outlook there is a slide button on the top right side of the window that allows you to toggle between the new and old view for outlook. When I turn that off and close the confirmation prompt, my email updates normally. Cant set up Network solutions acct to outlook. It is a business account.

In reply to Chris J Parker's post on July 17, 2023. Inside Outlook, try this. Press Ctrl + Alt + S, click edit, select the account you want to edit, then click account properties. From there you should be able to enter the incoming/outgoing server settings and enable SSL etc. CJ.

Created on September 6, 2023. Microsoft 365 Outlook (v2307 build 16.0...) won't accept Network Solutions recommended email server settings. Network Solutions recommends for Outlook/Windows the following settings: netsol-imap-oxcs.hostingplatform.com port 993 using StartTLS. netsol-smtp-oxcs.hostingplatform.com port 587 using StartTLS.
Currently, 3rd party account (Gmail, Yahoo!, iCloud and other IMAP account) is still in development which means that it is not fully supported yet. For some kind of IMAP accounts, you may not add them to New Outlook successfully. You may check this Microsoft article and try to set up your email account in New Outlook.
