Since there's no export / import of Quickbooks data files into Quicken HB&R, the answer to your question is, unfortunately, that you can't easily make the switch. You'd have to start from scratch. The H&B component of Quicken is very basic. No Journal Entries to transfer money between income or expense categories.

How to Convert Qmac to quickbooks. When i get to the end and open quickbooks, there is NOT a menu option for File-> Utilities -> Convert. Under File->Utilities i only have Verify, Rebuild and Condense data. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I do not believe this is possible. You can confirm by checking if Quickbooks can export to a QIF format. This is the only way short of starting from a set date and manually setting opening balances for each register. The best 'export' I can find that Quickbooks can do is to run a report and then send it to Excel.
