7.5k. Posted October 1, 2012. The components are all stainless, so the primary concern would be to purge all moisture and dirt and make sure it's lubricated. Depress the spring and plunger and blast it out with gunscrubber or carb and choke cleaner, then compressed air. Then apply a couple of drops of CLP.
Posted April 5, 2011. I personally prefer shorter barrels and have been shooting them pretty well for over 30 years. A 26" Benelli SBEII is about the same length from butt to barrel tip as a 28" standard auto or O/U. threeshot. Members. 199. Posted October 7, 2004. Watering your gun to clean it is not advisable. I am happy with the following products to clean and lube my SBEII. M-Pro 7 to clean the gun. I purchased Slip2000 Piston & Choke Tube Cleaner and use FP-10 for oiling the gun. Shooter Choice FP-10 is licensed to use FP-10.
At the end of this year's water fowl season while cleaning my two year old SBE II, the recoil pad seem to come off too easily. Upon closer look, the plastic insert from inside the stock had come loose and was still attached to the recoil pad (make sense?). I separated the plastic piece from the recoil pad and super glued it back inside the stock.

Members. 1. Posted September 2, 2014. I am new to this forum and new to Benelli shotguns. After 18 years I am getting back into duck hunting. I bought a new Benelli Supernova yesterday to use in this endeavor. I am really excited about this gun and in a few years, if I stay with it, I will upgrade to a Benelli auto.
I like the MOD choke, i shoot alot and i'm a fairly good shot. I shoot all my sporting clay leagues with IC. average score with IC is 41 out of 50 with MOD its 32 out of 50. When i bring friends out duck or pheasant hunting i have them shot IC a little bigger pattern and i find they hit more birds. The MOD is a fairly tight pattern but its nice ...
