May 31, 2021. #1. Sometimes it is more than a week after release of a new iOS system update before a notification badge appears on my iPhone's Settings icon indicating that a Software Update is available. Is there any way via Apple or 3rd party to set up an alert that arrives via email as soon as an update becomes available?

Jun 28, 2008. 974. 198. Jun 13, 2023. #1. Without any changes on my part, Gmail app notification banners no longer show a preview of the email message and instead just say "You have a new message". I checked both iOS and Gmail app settings and don't see a way to fix. Anyone else experiencing this and/or have a suggested fix? M.

The email client must support Modern Authentication (not sure what that entails). In their example of iOS, they tell people to delete their account from the email client and then choose Outlook specifically from the Add Account. This is not offered in Sonoma. Microsoft Exchange is listed as a named option in Sonoma but not "Outlook."
