Dec 19, 2021 at 6:56 AM. Hi ladies! My parents (daughters grandparents) have been absent for the majority of my daughters life so far (she’s now 9 mos). My husband and I moved an hour and 20 minutes away, which isn’t too bad. My parents have been here probably 3 or less times in that 9 months.

Maybe send some baby details, due date, name, how you’re feeling, reason that you’re not having a shower, and the registry link with no obligations to buy anything to the people you would have invited to the shower, with a hope that they can meet the baby once everything is open again. ETA - not all oils are pregnancy safe so be sure to look up oils before using. Clary sage is one that is actually used to induce labour so not safe in any form during pregnancy. For cheap, healthy candles I like the Everspring line at Target. They’re soy wax, lead free wicks, and essential oils.
