Gas on the river is your biggest problem. I know they have it in the Town of Suwannee so you could fuel up in Branford and get gas down the river. I am the one that created that map back when I worked with Suwannee River Water Management. The main questions is where is everyone staying. There is a hotel in Branford, maybe two now, and you can get the longest run to the coast and the Town of Suwannee. The Branford ramp is the best, but the current can be tricky.
Look up Suwannee River Boat ramp map , find US 19 as the center in Fanning Springs just north of Chiefland as a starting point . Look up Fanning Springs ramp , Clay Landing , Hart Springs , Purvis landing , Gornto Springs , Otter Springs and Ellie Rays .
Changed the gear oil and the fuel filter on the 200XS. Then I washed it, polished and waxed it, and conditioned the seats. Started around 9am and fished l finished around 7pm. All day affair lol. Hit the Suwannee at the Fanning Springs boat ramp around 11 this morning and ran up to Rock Bluff. Hung out there for about a couple hours.
Suwannee BBQ March 9 - 12 - 2023 .Time to plan for this March when our Northern brothers and sisters are ready to thaw out here in FL . We will be having a BBQ Friday and Saturday nights and playing on the River of course .

Cruised about 40 miles up the Suwannee this past weekend. Beautiful ride, boat traffic was minimal. Hart Springs was real nice. Saw quite a few flying Sturgeon and a gent in a Allison that looked an awful lot like Tom Foley's signature picture. Plus a few go fasts parked up at Manatee Springs. Nice outing with the family.....
