Qantas Flight 32 – an Airbus A380 from London to Sydney with a fuel stopover in Singapore suffered a catastrophic engine failure over Indonesia. The engine exploded and parts of it were strewn over the Indonesian Island of Batam. Qantas Flight 32 was forced to make an emergency landing at Singapore Changi Airport. Everyone on board survived.
