It's quite safe and won't corrupt your PC (I hope, since I'm currently using it) and it's "installed" by copying the file in your Cyberpunk folder.
Update drivers. Go into Cyberpunk settings. Change your screen resolution down/up. 1440 -> 1080 it doesn't matter as long as it asks you to "apply". Hit Apply...Now DLSS will take effect! Switch back to your native resolution and apply DLSS, you should notice a huge difference.

I reverted to my old Graphic Drivers and that solved the freezing / crashing problems. Under some circumstances Nvidia Driver 537.42 is faulty and causes those problems.
