I can login to login.microsoft.com with the same e-mail and password without an issue. I contacted GoDaddy and they said it was a Microsoft issue. OS is Win 11 Pro. The main goal is to have the Admin account as administrator and the user account as a standard user. This has been an issue since GoDaddy switch to O365 for e-mail.
I have a business email that I created thru GoDaddy. I go to the Microsoft 365 home page and type in my email and password and then click sign in. It brings me to Microsoft 365 Quick Access page. However, on the left-hand side of the page the icon for Outlook is missing. I have no way of accessing my business email account.
Having gone through the standard setup process - Outlook > Settings > New Account, upon entering the GoDaddy/Microsoft 365 email address the login page appears, but upon entering my password the system just hangs forever whilst trying to connect to Microsoft 365.
It seems like you are having issues with your GoDaddy email account after it was moved to the Microsoft Exchange server. According to GoDaddy’s help page, if you’re having trouble with receiving or sending your Workspace email using Apple Mail on Mac, you can try some helpful troubleshooting steps.
It was caused by a saved login for Go Daddy within the Samsung Pass app. Once I deleted that saved login found in the apps menu tree, my problem was solved!!! I'm not sure how or when that login was created because the phone is only 1 week old, but that was the culprit! Hope that helps, let me know.
Thanks for that. Well, it turned out that because GoDaddy migrated to Microsoft, they basically held my email hostage until I coughed up 26 dollars for the year. I did it, because all my contacts are in there, but will be switching to a free gmail or yahoo account or something before the year is up. Thanks for the heads up, Lawrence.
I purchased the Microsoft mailbox from GoDaddy but when it expired I did not renew it at all, I deleted the email from Godaddy and create a new one on Hostinger. I have tried to open it in the private browser window and cleared the browser cache and cookies but it did not work I have the Domain on Godaddy but the hosting and webmail are on ...
My question is the same as this one - Office 365 user gets redirected to sso.godaddy.com when visiting any - Microsoft Community. I used to use GoDaddy but migrated away from there into GSuite. On a new Surface with an email address that is no longer connected to GoDaddy, I downloaded Office 365.
The most recent ones we purchased do not. After being literally lied to by two different GoDaddy Email Support reps where they told me that . a) I had to update each email at a cost of $200+ per year, or. b) I had to "purchase a new license with Microsoft". GoDaddy even gave me a phone number to contact Microsoft. 1-855-270-0615.
Make sure you have the correct email settings for your GoDaddy account. You can find these settings on the GoDaddy website or by contacting their customer support. Check if your GoDaddy account is set up for IMAP or POP3. Outlook for Android only supports IMAP accounts, so if your account is set up for POP3, you'll need to switch it to IMAP.
