Hi, according to Microsoft and I quote " If you choose to upgrade to Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 for Mac, you'll simply need to remove the existing Office 2019 for Mac license, but you won't need to remove your Office apps". Therefore uninstalling and reinstalling does not solve this issue.
It does lack the Clear Recents listing found in the Mac Word 2011. File menu. However, it sounds like you mean the lists provided in the Tools> Track Changes> Compare Documents dialog. Those lists are restricted to the 26 most recently opened files. They don't track any more than that.

I am getting really frustrated as I have just purchased Microsoft 365 for my Macbook Air and I can not get the Transcribe option in the app, nor is it available online.... I have looked everywhere and can not seem to resolve this issue...
I'm trying to insert signatures and view documents that have completed signature lines in Microsoft Word for Mac (version 16.81). I received a document with a completed signature line. When I preview the document (in Slack), I can see the completed signature line; however, when I open the document in Word for Mac, the signature line is blank.
