Grayson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky.As of the 2020 census, the population was 26,420. [1] Its county seat is Leitchfield. [2] The county was formed in 1810 and named for William Grayson (1740–1790), a Revolutionary War colonel and a prominent Virginia political figure.
Constitution Square Historic Site is a 3-acre (0.012 km 2) park and open-air museum in Danville, Kentucky.From 1937 to 2012, it was a part of the Kentucky state park system and operated by the Kentucky Department of Parks.

The Court Square Historic District in Leitchfield, Kentucky was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The initial listing included 29 contributing buildings, including the 1935 Grayson County Courthouse, on 10 acres (4.0 ha).
[3] In 1855, the rock dam built by Willis Green washed out. Lafe Green borrowed $20,000 from B.F. Beard to rebuild it. The stonework in the new dam was done by Edgar Bennett and has thus far stood the trials of time. After years of operation the saw mill ran out of quality trees in the area and shut down in 1933.
The Jack Thomas House, at 108 E. Main St. in Leitchfield, Kentucky was built in 1810. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. It has been known as the oldest brick house in Leitchfield, on the basis of its original one-story brick section which later served as a rear ell off the main block, built later.
