Oct 8, 2019. 4,828. Jun 12, 2020. #20. Light was always intended to be a villain whose narcissism drives him to murder people in an attempt to create his ideal world, while Lelouch was meant to be an antihero whose various brainwashing and killing are meant to be justified.
She's essentially the protagonist of the first half before Lelouch is back in full and her relationship with him is pretty much why some of the plot happens plus there is the ending. There's also a manga adaptation of Resurrection going right now that seems to be following the TV Show continuity, but not sure that really counts.
Jan 10, 2023. #2. Lelouch is clever, but most of his battles, while decently schemed, were won with brute force through the Geass. Light actually had to think more about his actions, and couldn't simply kill his way through, so he's the smarter one and would certainly win. Edit: I'm assuming this is a pure battle of wits without their "powers".
Just finished watching this anime and wanted to share this beatiful ending. www.youtube.com. So the ending of Code Geass has Lelouch take over the world in a ploy to have all hatred focused on him and then have Suzaku kill him in order to end the cycle of hatred and bring in a new era of peace not just for his sister but the world as a whole.

Season 2 of Code Geass had the Black Knights betray Lelouch after discovering his true identity and recordings from Schneizel indicating he ordered the Euphenator incident and all. With Ohgi's support, the group turns on him and this has been controversial among the fandom.
But (*SPOILERS* lo and behold) at the very end of the day, he ends up deliberately committing atrocities of his own, perpetuating under a masquerade just for the sake of the greater good, with Suzaku in tow. Imo, Suzaku was as valid in his stance as Lelouch was in his, and both were debatable, because both were driven by moral extremes.
EDIT: Here's this wiki description of Napoleon that describes Lelouch: George F. E. Rudé stresses his "rare combination of will, intellect and physical vigour". In one-on-one situations he typically had a hypnotic effect on people, seemingly bending the strongest leaders to his will. He understood military technology, but was not an innovator ...
So I finished Code Geass a few days ago and one of the most shocking moments of the series came from Episode 22. In this episode after Euphemia announces plans to create a special zone to restore freedom to the Japanese, Lelouch as Zero arrives intially to oppose it. After talking with Euphy and...
