Department of English, one of the oldest and renowned departments of the college, stands for creative exploration and serious academy engagements apart from research orientations. The department is a set of seriously committed teachers with their distinct areas of specialization which include studies as far as transgender and LGBT.
The Department has dedicated and hardworking members in order to make it a center of excellence in teaching and research. The sanctioned faculty strength of the department is 15. Currently department has eight permanent faculty members and Four Non-Teaching Staffs.
