It's a subjective thing, so it kind of depends on the person, but I think the manga is a better work overall. TL;DR the pacing problems in the anime are (IMO) singlehandedly enough to make the manga the better option. However, though incomplete and of dubious legality, One Pace is a much more convincing option than the uncut Toei episodes, so ...
Yes, except for the fact that every 24 min episode has like 10 min of actual content. That's why OnePace exists though. 5. Vpeyjilji57. • 3 yr. ago. One Piece is the best Manga. The Anime, not so much. Mainly from the pacing issues of trying to adapt 1000 chapters into 1000 episodes. 15.
One Pace is a fan project that recuts the One Piece anime in an attempt to make the anime's pacing more bearable. The team accomplishes this by removing filler scenes not present in the source material. This process requires meticulous editing and quality control to ensure seamless music and transitions. One Pace includes everything that’s in ...
Manga: just a black and white picture, maybe with some writing. Anime: a full adaptation of that one picture into an entire scene with fluid motion and sound, colour and music. It is clearly superior. The anime takes the source material and gives it life. -8.
The manga is better at telling the story. Any "advantage" of the anime people mention will just be things that are a difference in medium, not what the anime actually does better like BGM, voice acting or animation. Read the manga in full, then watch whatever you wanted to see animated animated, then watch whatever filler/OVA/Movie you wanna see.
The whole manga/anime cannon is really confusing and I don't think you can really generalize it. Usually what it means is that "manga cannon" is, well, what is shown in the Manga and got adapted into the Anime. "Anime cannon" is what only exists in Anime but isn't quite a filler either because they could be related to the main story itself for ...
Anime just got to about chapter 934, and the manga is on chapter 974 (I think). That's only 40 chapters. Which is a little over 20 episodes. And although they're putting out a new episode every week, Oda isnt putting out a new chapter every week. They are dangerously close to fully catching up with the manga.
You can read manga and watch spectacular fights in anime, you don't need to choose one. manga + anime for the important fights. anime after timeskip is unbearable for its pacing. Additionally to the fights there are certain moments you should definitely watch in the anime, i can‘t say too much you‘ll know.
No one can tell you if it's worth watching to you, because we are not you. One Piece is in my eyes one of the best anime/manga I've seen and that's all I can say. -1. giangerd. • 3 yr. ago. Yes. Watch or read or use One Pace or whatever. The answer is always yes. A great series is a great series no matter what!
60 volumes for Part 1, 600 chapters. 60 Volumes for Part 2, 120 volumes and One Piece ends. That's what I predict. One Piece will end in 2026. Only arcs left are, God Valley, Elbaf, Lodestar, possible Blackbeard vs SHs arc at his island, Laugh Tale, Final War. And anything else in between.
