Just installed the latest version (see about pic attached below): Check your settings when Avast Secure Browser is open to see if the third pic has it enabled to startup when Windows starts up. Click the three vertical dots next to the avast icon on the upper right to get to this setting. Scroll down and change if needed.

cannot delete nor change shortcuts on secure browser start page. I have tried several times to change and delete a shortcut that was automatically added to my start page without success. No matter what I do it will not change. It will say it has been deleted or changed and offers undo but it is still there. I cannot add my own shortcuts, either.

Had to do a full OS install and downloaded a new copy of the secure browser. The video downloader isn't working and the extension is not installed. I reinstalled the browser several times with the same result. Avast support for the browser is non-existant. Not something I can confirm. Make sure you're using the latest version.

In secure://settings/vpn none of the options are available. This is what I meant by: "I (1) can't turn on or off my VPN; (2) can't change my VPN location; and (3) can't auto-connect." These menu options now are all ghosted out and can't be used. I have uninstalled / reinstalled Avast Secure Browser a few times and none of the problems get fixed.
