    All of a sudden my selective sync window on Mac is not displaying all of the online dropbox folders. Dropbox > Preferences > Sync > Select Folders. Dropbox.com shows proper updating so Dropbox is correctly working back and forth with my Mac. The iPhone app shows correct updating of my files.

    March. exact same issue here, the only difference is I am constantly on VPN. dropbox desktop app has been working fine on my PC for years and this started to happen just a couple days ago on both my personal PC and work PC. have tried 1) turning off firewalls; 2) restart PC; 3) reinstall dropbox but no luck. 0 Likes.

    I just reinstalled the Dropbox desktop app, downloading it both from the homepage as well as after signing in and clicking on my initials/icon and selecting the "install desktop app" button from there). I completely removed (using AppZapper) Dropbox and all associated files. I'm not having any issues aside from this app (connectivity or otherwise).

    You can change the Dropbox sync location from the settings: click the Dropbox icon in the taskbar → click the profile icon → select Preferences.     If you still get the "Connecting" message, I would suggest to look for an antivirus, firewall, security program, proxy or VPN setting that could be blocking the desktop app from connecting properly.
